II has been at the forefront of software development in Scotland since the company was founded in 1994 by a group of senior computing researchers at the University of Edinburgh.

Since then, the company has developed software which has generated millions of pages for some of the UK's leading web sites.

II have also developed a range of software packages for enriching web sites, including Weasel , a software package for plotting dynamic, interactive information on diagrams, and MapWeasel , which overlays data on maps and underpins our mapping service, Maps.Interactive.
